报告题目：Carleman estimates and null controllability for nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations

报告摘要：In the talk, I introduce some recent results on the null controllability of some control systems governed by nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations. The equations are degenerate on a portion of the lateral boundary and there are singular lower order terms. We establish the Carleman estimates and the observability inequalities for linear equations by means of suitable weighted functions and a series of elaborate computations. Then the nonlinear control systems are shown to be null controllable.

报告人简介

王春朋，现为吉林大学数学学院院长、教授、博士生导师，国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。1994年进入吉林大学数学系学习，先后获得学士、硕士和博士学位。2000年至今在吉林大学数学学院工作。王春朋教授主要从事偏微分方程的研究，特别是在具有退化性和其他奇性的拟线性抛物型偏微分方程领域取得了显著成就。在Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Adv. Math.、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、Comm. Partial Differential Equations、J. Differential Equations等重要杂志上发表论文100余篇。此外，曾获国家杰出青年科学基金、国家优秀青年科学基金、教育部自然科学奖二等奖、国家教学成果奖二等奖、宝钢优秀教师奖等荣誉。
