报告题目：Direct Sampling Methods for Simultaneously Reconstructing Multiple Inhomogeneous Media in Inverse Problems

报告摘要：Simultaneously reconstructing the geometric and physical properties of multiple inhomogeneous media has long been a challenging topic in the numerical solution of inverse problems. In this talk, we will present our recently developed direct sampling methods for simultaneously reconstructing multiple inhomogeneous media. These methods make full use of the inherent characteristics of mathematical models in many typical inverse problems and are applicable to scenarios with limited measurement data and significant noise, offering fast and stable computations. This talk will cover the basic construction of direct sampling methods, their unique properties, and their effectiveness in solving inverse problems. This is a joint work with Yat Tin Chow (UC Riverside) and Fuqun Han (UCLA).

报告人简介

邹军教授现为香港中文大学卓敏数学讲座教授以及数学系系主任，香港工业和应用数学学会名誉会长，欧亚国际反问题学会会长. 邹军教授于1989年获得中国科学院计算中心博士学位，曾为“德国洪堡基金会学者”, 德国Augsburg大学和德国慕尼黑工业大学访问学者，美国加州大学洛杉矶分校计算与应用数学助理教授。曾获聘为教育部长江学者讲座教授和国家海外高阶人才引进计划专家. 曾任香港工业和应用数学学会会长（2022-2025），香港数学学会副会长（2016-2026）. 邹军教授分别于2019年当选为美国工业和应用数学学会(SIAM)会士, 2022年当选为美国数学学会(AMS)会士， 2026年获授香港研究资助局高级研究学者. 邹军教授的主要研究方向是偏微分方程正问题和反问题的数值方法和分析，在国际计算和应用数学的SCI杂志上发表了190多篇论文. 他在电磁场、数学物理反问题和多界面物理问题等领域的数值求解和分析方面做出了许多重要贡献. 邹军教授现为12个国际计算数学期刊编委, 包括 SIAM J. Sci. Comput., SIAM J. Numer. Anal., J. Sci. Comput., IMA J. Numer. Anal., M2AN 等有影响的计算数学和科学计算的国际期刊.
