报告题目：Butcher Series in ODEs, Rough Paths, and Regularity Structures

报告摘要：Butcher series originated from numerical analysis in ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are proved to be efficient tools for encoding solutions of ODEs, rough differential equations (RDEs) and singular stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs). In this talk, I will give a brief and gentle introduction to some solution theories for ODEs, Branched Rough Paths (for solving RDEs) and Regularity Structures (for solving singular SPDEs) by presenting the Butcher series-type expansions of solutions. The talk will primarily focus on the derivation of those expansions while some applications in numerical analysis will be briefly mentioned.

报告人简介

侯映彤博士，现就读于法国洛林大学，师从Yvain Bruned教授。主要研究方向为随机偏微分方程，Regularity structures, Rough path理论, Hopf 代数。曾在 J. Differ. Equ.， Trans. Am. Math. Soc.，J. Lond. Math. Soc.发表论文。
