报告题目：Separable elements of type B

报告摘要：Separable elements in Weyl groups are generalizations of the notion of separable permutations in symmetric groups. Gaetz and Gao conjectured that for any pair (X,Y) of subsets of a finite Weyl group W , the multiplication map X\times Y\rightarrow W is a splitting of W if and only if X is the generalized quotient of Y and Y is a principal lower order ideal in the right weak order generated by a separable element. In this talk, we confirm this conjecture for Weyl groups of type B.

报告人简介

喻厚义，西南大学数学与统计学院教授，博士生导师，国家级青年人才。2012年博士毕业于上海交通大学, 2014年8月至2015年7月在美国纽约大学交流访问。近年来，主要从事罗巴代数与代数组合的研究，在Adv. Math.，J. Combin. Theory Ser. A，European J. Combin.等期刊发表论文20余篇，主持国家自然科学基金项目4项。
