报告摘要：In this talk we will discuss, on a locally symmetric space of higher rank and infinite volume, the relation between the bottom of the L2-spectrum of the Laplace-Beltrami operator, and the convergence rate of the discrete subgroup. We will also talk about their implications for the Strichartz inequality, a key tool in the study of nonlinear dispersive equations.

报告人简介

张鸿伟，德国Paderborn University博士后研究员。他的研究兴趣包括：Harmonic analysis on noncompact symmetric spaces; Dispersive PDE on symmetric/locally symmetric spaces; Spectral analysis on locally symmetric spaces; Asymptotic behavior of the heat semigroup on manifolds.
