报告题目: Dynamics of the reaction-diffusion models with the geometric approach

报告摘要：In this talk, we discuss the dynamics of traveling wave solutions including the existence, uniqueness, nonexistence, asymptotic behavior, stability properties in reaction-diffusion equations, such as chemical oscillation models and population dynamical systems. We primarily employ the theory of dynamical systems, particularly geometric singular perturbation theory to investigate the dynamical properties.

报告人简介

杜增吉，江苏师范大学校长、教授、博士生导师，中国数学会奇异摄动专业委员会主任，江苏省“333高层次人才”中青年科技领军人才，江苏省重点学科数学学科负责人、国家级一流本科课程《常微分方程》负责人。研究方向为微分方程与动力系统、奇异摄动理论及其应用等。研究成果发表在 J. Funct. Anal., J. Nonlinear Sci., J. Differential Equations, J. Math. Biol., Phys. D，Proc. AMS等数学期刊上。主持和参加国家自然科学基金面上项目和重大项目，获省自然科学奖二等奖、省优秀教学成果奖一等奖和省数学成就奖等。
