报告题目：Upper and lower bounds for the attractors dimension for damped wave equations

报告摘要：We present sharp estimates for the attractordimension of the damped hyperbolic equation (or system) in a boundeddomain ofR^d. The key ingredient in the proof is Lieb’sbound for the L^p -norms of systems with orthonormal gradients based onthe Cwikel–Lieb–Rozenblum (CLR) inequality as well as Strichartz and Kato-Ponce inequalities in dimensions d=1 and d=2.

报告人简介

Sergey Zelik教授是国际无穷维动力系统领域的著名专家，现任浙江师范大学杰出教授、萨里大学教授，入选国家高端外专学者。1989-1994年就读于莫斯科国立大学数学与力学系，1994-1998年在莫斯科国立大学攻读博士学位，师从Mark Vishik教授，于1998年获得数学博士学位，2004年获得物理和数学科学博士学位；2003-2005年在德国Stuttgart大学入选“洪堡学者”计划；2006年至今在英国萨里大学任教，2015年晋升为教授。

Sergey Zelik教授在无穷维动力系统吸引子等相关领域的研究中取得了杰出的成果，特别是在耗散系统吸引子的存在性和正则性问题，吸引子降维问题以及惯性流形等方面取得了一系列深刻的结果，并在Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Mem. Amer. Math.Soc., Math. Ann., Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.，Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., J. Math. Pures Appl., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Comm.Partial Differential Equations等国际知名学术期刊上发表学术论文近百篇。
