摘要：I will present some recent advances on using the scalar auxiliary variable (SAV) approach to develop highly efficient and accurate energy stable schemes for a large class of complex dissipative systems, including in particular the Navier-Stokes equations, and present ample numerical results to show the computational advantages of higher-order SAV schemes.

个人简介

沈捷，厦门大学讲座教授，美国普渡大学数学系教授。沈捷教授1982年毕业于北京大学数学系，之后赴法国巴黎于1987年获得计算数学博士学位，师从国际著名数学大师ROGER TEMAM。沈捷教授是国际著名数值计算和分析专家，主要从事偏微分方程数值解研究，尤其在谱方法数值分析理论和科学计算方面有杰出贡献，同时在流体力学以及材料科学计算方面的研究被广泛关注。2017年当选美国数学会会士。2020当选为美国工业与应用数学学会(SIAM)会士。沈捷教授目前已在SIAM Review, Math. Comput., SIAM J. Numer. Anal., SIAM J. Sci. Comput., Numer. Math.等国际著名期刊上发表学术论文200余篇。
