应兰州大学数学与统计学院孙红蕊教授和杨飞英副教授的邀请，陕西师范大学聂华教授将于2021年6月28日-6月30日与我校有关师生进行在线学术研讨，其中6月30日举行线上专题学术报告。

报告题目：The effect of diffusion on the dynamics of a predator-prey chemostat model

报告摘要：This paper deals with a diffusive predator-prey chemostat system whichdescribes the growth of planktonic rotifers, Brachionus calyciflorus, feeding on unicellular green algae, Chlorella vulgaris. The dynamical behavior of this system is established in terms of the diffusion rate. The results show that there exist two critical diffusion rates which classify the dynamical behavior of this system into the following three scenarios: (i) for large diffusion rate, all species will be washed out; (ii) for an intermediate diffusion rate, the predator goes extinct and the prey survives; (iii) for small diffusion rate, all species coexist. Finally, our numerical results show that the solution of this system may undergo a steady-state bifurcation or Hopf bifurcation for suitably small diffusion rate, which supplements our theoretical results.

聂华教授简介

聂华，教授、博士生导师，长期从事反应扩散模型和生物数学的研究。2006年7月于陕西师范大学数学与信息科学学院获得基础数学博士学位。2010年9月至2011年9月赴美国明尼苏达大学数学学院留学一年，2015年9月至12月赴澳大利亚新英格兰大学合作研究，2012年8月、2016年8月两次赴台湾清华大学合作研究。已在“SIAM J. Appl. Math.”、“SIAM J. Math. Anal.”、“J. Differential Equations”、“J. Math. Biol.”、“European J. Appl. Math.”、“Proc. London Math. Soc.”、“Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst.”、“Internat. J. Bifur. Chaos Appl. Sci. Engrg.”、“Sci. China Math.”等国内外知名刊物上发表学术论文50多篇；已主持国家自然科学基金项目4项，主持省部级项目3项；作为核心成员参与完成国家自然科学基金面上项目3项；2012年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2015年入选陕西省“青年科技新星”。
