应兰州大学数学与统计学院李万同教授和林国教授的邀请，上海交通大学陶有山教授将于2021年6月28日-6月30日与我校有关师生进行在线学术研讨，其中6月29日举行线上专题学术报告。

报告摘要：This talk concerns a three-component chemotaxis model for virus propagation. Compared to the notable Keller-Segel system, the nonlinear mechanism of attractant production forms a main novel feature in this new model. We develop a method capable of identifying taxis-induced blow-up in this complex model, as known virus hotspot formation phenomena observed in biological experiments. This lecture just focuses on reporting a recent joint work with Michael Winkler (Paderborn University, Germany).

陶有山教授简介

陶有山, 上海交通大学教授、 博士生导师。于1986年获得南京大学学士学位，于1992年获得复旦大学理学硕士学位，于1995年毕业于苏州大学并获博士学位。曾多次在美国俄亥俄州立大学、日本东京大学进行学术访问。陶教授研究方向为偏微分方程、生物数学，在趋向性数学模型的研究、肿瘤生长及其干预治疗的数学模型研究方面取得了一系列成果。近几年主要研究来自于生物过程的趋化模型，在JEMS、SIMA、Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire、Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci.、J. Nonlinear Sci.、Inverse Problems、JMB、Nonlinearity、JDE等国际知名数学发表期刊论文70余篇，MR引用约1500次, 10余篇论文入选ESI高被引论文。主持国家基金及省部级项目10余项。现担任2份国际SCI期刊Nonlinear Analysis: Real World Applications和EMS Surveys in Mathematical Sciences的编委。
