报告题目：On R0 in spatially and temporally changing environment

报告摘要：

We will discuss several reaction-diffusion models for the spread of disease in heterogeneous environment. The first is an SIS model in spatially heterogeneous and time-periodic environment, and our focus is on the effect of frequency and dispersal on R0. The second is an SEIRS model in spatially heterogeneous environment, in which we investigate the effect of movement of exposed and infected populations on R0. The talk is based on joint works with Shuang Liu, Pengfei Song and Yanni Xiao.

报告人简介

楼元，1984-1991年就读于北京大学数学系，1991-1995年就读于明尼苏达大学数学系。他曾在MSRI（1995-96年）和芝加哥大学（1996-98年）做博士后研究，自1998年任教于俄亥俄州立大学数学系。研究兴趣是反应扩散方程理论以及在生物学中的应用。
