报告题目：Time-frequency Analysis for Signals on Graphs

报告摘要：Graph signal processing has been paid enough attention anddeveloped rapidly in recent years. Traditional signal is defined on the Euclidean space. However, a large number of data in modern information science cannot always be expressed as functions in Euclidean space. A powerful model is the signals on graphs. To process this kind of signals, we need to extend the classical Fourier transform, wavelet transform to the graph setting. Many problems in classical signal processing, such as time-frequency analysis, function approximation, sampling and reconstruction theory, needto be established. In this talk, we will introduce some of our recent works on the theory and applications in this field.

报告人简介

杨力华, 男, 中山大学数学学院教授、博士生导师. 1995年在中山大学获得博士学位, 1996-1998年在中科院数学所博士后流动站工作, 1998年3月入职中山大学至今. 研究领域为逼近论，小波分析与信号处理，发表论文120余篇，合作出版专著一本, 译著三本, 教材一本. 指导21名博士生获得博士学位,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目六项,省部级项目各一项, 2006-2008年期间联合主办中法新小波分析及其应用以及与时频分析国际会议. 2015年获得“南粤优秀教师”称号, 2017年获得广东省科学技术二等奖.
