报告摘要:
I will present some recent results about degenerate (ultra-parabolic) Kolmogorov equations (also known as linear Fokker–Planck equations), under the condition that the leading coefficients $a^{ij}$ are measurable in $t$ and VMO in $(x, v)$ with respect to the intrinsic quasi-metric. Such equations appear often in the kinetic theory. We consider equations in both divergence and non-divergence form and our proof does not rely on any kernel estimates. An application to the Landau equation will also be discussed. This is based on joint work with Timur Yastrzhembskiy (Brown University).

董弘桀,现为美国Brown大学教授.主要从事偏微分方程正则性理论的研究,在该领域获得了一系列非常出色的结果.董弘桀教授目前已在“Comm. Pure Appl. Math.”、“Arch. Rational Mech. Anal.”、“Comm. Math. Phys.”、“Comm. Partial Differential Equations”、“Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.”等国际重要学术期刊上发表论文100多篇,并担任SIAM J. Math. Anal., J. Differential Equations等期刊编委.
