应兰州大学数学与统计学院王智诚教授的邀请，中南大学戴斌祥教授将于2019年5月18日至5月19日访问兰州大学,期间将举办专题学术报告。

报告题目：Spatiotemporal pattern formation and selection induced by nonlinear cross-diffusion in a toxic-phytoplankton-zooplankton model with Allee effect

报告摘要：The spatiotemporal pattern formation and selection driven by nonlinear cross-diffusion of a toxic-phytoplankton-zooplankton model with Allee effect is investigated in this talk. We first perform the mathematical analysis of the corresponding non-spatial model, which give us a complete picture of the global dynamics. Then the linear stability analysis shows that the nonlinear cross-diffusion is the key mechanism for the formation of spatial patterns. Finally, numerical simulations illustrate the effectiveness of theoretical results. The impact of Allee effect and toxin-producing rate of toxic-phytoplankton species on pattern selection is also explored.

戴斌祥教授简介

戴斌祥，中南大学数学与统计学院二级教授、博士生导师；湖南省数学学会常务理事、常务副秘书长；中国生物数学学会常务理事；中国大学生数学竞赛湖南赛区负责人；入选湖南省新世纪121人才工程人选；中南大学应用数学学科方向主要带头人。国家自然科学奖、湖南省和上海市自然科学奖数学专业组评审专家；教育部科技进步奖和湖南省、甘肃省、上海市科技进步奖的通讯评审专家；国家自然科学基金、湖南省、浙江省、河北省自然科学基金同行评议专家。先后在国内外权威刊物上发表了130多篇学术论文，出版专著1本；主持承担了5项国家自科面上基金、1项973项目子课题、1项省重点课题和多项省部级课题；获得湖南省科学技术进步一等奖和湖南省自然科学一等奖各一项；指导和培养了45名硕士研究生和17名博士研究生。
