应兰州大学数学与统计学院宋伦继副教授邀请，吉林大学数学学院柴世民博士于2018年11月9日下午访问我校并作学术报告。

报告题目：Finite element method for the linear stochastic Cahn-Hilliard-Cook equation

摘    要：In this talk, we will discuss the linear Cahn-Hilliard-Cook (CHC) equation with conforming finite element method and weak Galerkin method. The error estimates are present. Numerical examples are given. The weak Galerkin method is applied to the determine forth order parabolic equations and the weak Laplacian operator is defined on a class of discontinuous functions.

柴世民博士简介

2009年获得吉林大学应用数学博士学位，现任吉林大学数学学院讲师。曾于2013年至2014年到奥本大学数学系做访问学者，研究兴趣主要在弱有限元方法，发表代表性学术论文多篇。
